About the project

The aim of the project was to create an integrated community management system that streamlines communication and supports relationship-building within the Membplace platform. The project resulted in a comprehensive ecosystem comprising an admin panel, an intuitive mobile and web app for organisation members, and advanced technological infrastructure supporting process automation, activity tracking and user engagement. The platform’s main features include centralised management of the membership database, a system for handling membership fees and donations, an events calendar with registration, push notifications, a secure messaging service, and the automatic generation of reports and attendance lists.

  • Member database management – a central portal for managing user profiles, their data and permissions within the organisation.

Challenges in the project

A combination of advanced tools within a single ecosystem

The Membplace platform goes beyond simple membership lists — it includes payment systems, automatic attendance tracking via QR codes, event bookings and voting modules. From a design perspective, this meant creating an intuitive information architecture that does not overwhelm the administrator, whilst allowing them to efficiently manage all of the organisation’s processes in one place.

Scalability and accessibility for diverse groups

The system had to be designed to be equally user-friendly for small local clubs as well as for organisations with thousands of members and an international reach. The key challenge was to ensure full real-time data synchronisation between the web dashboard and the mobile app, whilst maintaining the highest standards of data protection and financial transaction security.
