About project

The goal of the project was to create an intuitive digital solution that addresses the real needs of the elderly, their loved ones, and caregivers. The implementation resulted in a cohesive ecosystem including a mobile app, a web platform, an administrator panel, and a care management system, supporting the ordering of services as well as the management of contractors, settlements, and the ongoing administration of the platform.

SeniorApp operates as a marketplace for assistance and care services, where users can search for support for themselves or their loved ones, while caregivers and contractors can manage their offers, rates, availability, and service areas.

Designing a system accessible to users with low levels of technological proficiency

One of the key challenges was creating a solution that was simple and intuitive for seniors and those in need of support, while remaining sufficiently comprehensive for families, caregivers, and administrators. SeniorApp’s publicly communicated mission and emphasis on ease of use demonstrate that accessibility and interface simplicity were among the core foundations of the project.

Combining safety and convenience in a marketplace model for care services

The second significant challenge was building a trusted environment that connects people seeking help with caregivers and service providers. This required implementing verification mechanisms, ratings, secure payments, and efficient order management to ensure the platform was both operationally convenient and credible for users.
